The South West coast path is among the longest of all the long distance footpaths in Britain, and some of its most scenic stretches are on the north and south coast of Cornwall.

The path runs 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset right around the South West peninsula, including Land's End, and ends at Poole in Dorset.

There is no better way to discover the towering cliffs, windblown estuaries, superb surf beaches, fishing coves, harbours, and tree lined creeks than to follow the Cornish coast path. There are plenty of gentle short stretches as well as more dramatic and demanding ones.

Some interesting walks close to Kenegie Manor include:

1. St.Ives to Land's End taking in Zennor, Gurnard's Head, Cape Cornwall and Sennen Cove.

2. Land's End to Mousehole with the breathtaking views from the world famous Minack Theatre across Porthcurno with its turquoise sea and golden sands. Also along this stretch of coast lies the beautiful Lamorna Cove.

  3. Mousehole to Marazion passing through the fishing village of Newlyn, and the town of Penzance before arriving at the magical and mysterious St. Michael's Mount.

4. Porthleven to The Lizard visiting the smugglers coves at Poldhu, Mullion and Kynance finally arriving at the most southerly point of mainland Britain, Lizard Point.

5. The Lizard to the Helford River taking in Coverack and the picturesque harbour at Cadgwith, used as a film set for " Ladies in Lavender". This stretch of Cornwall sees a change of scenery away from the coastal waters to the inland creeks of the Helford River.
